马歇尔学会经济论文竞赛(Marshall Society Essay Competition)是由剑桥大学经济学会(Marshall Society)主办的年度国际学术写作赛事。该赛事成立于1927年,以著名经济学家阿尔弗雷德·马歇尔命名,旨在为尚未开启本科课程的学生提供一个展现逻辑思维、批判性思维和学术说服力的国际性平台。

一、 参赛资格与语言参赛对象

二、 竞赛时间轴
命题公布:预计在7月初发布。
提交截止:通常在8月底(例如2025年的截止时间为8月29日23:59 BST)。

三、 核心写作与格式要求
字数限制:正文字数严格控制在 1250字 以内(包含脚注,但不含参考文献和数据表格),官方会进行严格审查。

四、 作品提交方式文件格式

五、 奖项设置
冠军(Winner):得分最高的论文作者将获得 100英镑 奖金。决赛入围者(Runners-up):紧随其后的两名作者将各获得 50英镑 奖金。优秀奖/表彰(Commendation):遴选若干优秀论文给予表彰,无奖金。注:获得冠亚军及优秀奖的文章有机会被刊登在马歇尔学会的年度刊物《The Dismal Scientist》(忧郁的科学)中。
